To develop a library program that
* Promotes literacy with students, staff, faculty and community.
* Supports the school curriculum and the lifelong learning of students, faculty, staff and parents by fostering positive attitudes toward reading.
* Provides a safe haven for all types of students, staff and faculty, in which each person feels that they are respected and represented within the library collection.
* Advocates intellectual freedom
* Ensures that students, faculty, and staff are effective users of ideas and information

* To facilitate programs throughout the school year that enable students to gain a further appreciation of reading
* To provide current and up to date informational materials in both print and non-print formats
* To improve the achievement of our students by facilitating and taking part in collaborative planning instruction with core content teachers
