My Field Experience
Prior to my actual experience out on the field, I took a self assessment to see where I was, according to the TL standards.
I interned at Venice High School in Venice, California, under the guidance of Ms. Caroline Gill, Library Goddess, between January and April in 2012.
I kept a log of my activities during that time. Here is my program administration paper, technology paper, and ethnographic activity.
I completed a teaching and learning project. Here's my Shakespeare's Renaissance lesson plan where students looked at a path finder I created for them to find facts, and then presented their facts and shared the website(s) where they found their information. Of course, there was a handout, to scaffold for them. Ms. Gill wrote my evaluation and I reflected upon my experience.
Finally, I reflected upon my field experience in general. I'm so glad I did it!
